COMMISSIONER FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WELCOME THE NEWLY EMPLOYED CIVIL SERVANTS TO THE MINISTRY

Delta State Commissioner for Science and Technology Hon. Matthews Tsekiri welcome the newly employed to the Ministry of Science and Technology. He asked the employed civil servants to introduce themselves starting from their names, school attended, qualifications obtained, their various area of specialization and pointed out the fact that they all need to improve themselves in various departments in the aspect of ICT.

The Hon. Commissioner asked the newly employed who was very conversant with Microsoft Excel and few notified to that effect and1U also said to commend a training for the newly employed.

Rocky Ighoyota, the Director of ICT department asked the newly employed civil servants different questions about software and hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, networking and programming. He also asked questions concerning hardware of a computer system, concerning the RAM, ROM systems unit, monitor and networks, and he advised them to put themselves into practice of the various aspects of ICT.

Osakwe Grayham, the Head of Information Systems in Project e-Delta encouraged the newly employed to dress properly in the service. He told them that they will be trained even if it for a few days for them to get acquainted with the rudiments of ICT that contains programming, web design, Microsoft office, networking etc.

The Commissioner congratulated the newly employed on making it into the service and he told them to be up and doing, the sky will be their limit.
